The New Heavens and New Earth Part 2- a further analysis: Connecting the dots.

Revelation 7 and the 'Great Multitude'

by Richard Fix, written January 2003

Who are they? Are they human or resurrected? What does it mean, “which no man could number”? The identity of the ‘great multitude’ is discernable and unmistakable. The Bible is quite clear on this subject. You can know for absolute fact who they are, and why they are there, and where they are going!

The New Jerusalem, How 'New' Is It?

by Richard Fix, written January 2003.

Are you among the majority of professing Christians who believe the ‘new Jerusalem’ is made of spirit and will someday be brought to earth from outer space or heaven? How clear is the Bible on this? Is there a way to determine what is figurative and what is literal?  The Old Testament prophets of God spoke about this city. Why then did John describe it so differently from the way they did; or did he? Be prepared for a different look at ‘new Jerusalem’, the one John really saw.

The New Heavens and New Earth

by Richard Fix, written January 2003.

Have you been taught to believe that the "New Heavens and New Earth" are spiritual or physical? When do you think they come on the scene? Who do you think they are for? What is it that makes them ‘New’? One of the least understood Bible topics has been ‘the future’ as portrayed in the book of Revelation. Why is that? The last book of the Bible is supposed to ‘reveal’ the future to us, yet it is an enigma to nearly all who try to understand it. Could the reason for the failure to understand so much of the book of Revelation lie hidden under our very noses? The surprising answers to these and other questions are contained in this investigative look into the origin, purpose and timing of the New Heavens and the New Earth.

The Actual Message of Matt 24

by Richard Fix, written August 2000.  Revised August 2003.

Does the Matthew 24 prophecy really mean what we think it does?   Churches quote from this chapter to “prove” that we are already in the end time and that the return of Christ is imminent. Are we in the end time?  Who is this chapter written to? What is the key to understanding bible prophecy?

The End-Time Temple

by Richard Fix, written September 2000.  Revised November 2002.

For years we have accepted the teaching that the Church is a Spiritual Temple and that Christ will return to it at His Second Coming.  Has this belief caused us to read over many startling scriptures about the end-time and the return of Christ? This article examines beliefs that may have caused us to miss the dramatic significance of the sequence of events described in the book of Revelation.

Pentecost Is Not Fulfilled

by Lon Martin, written October 2000. Revised December 2002.

Was the primary meaning of the Day of Pentecost fulfilled on the day when the Holy Spirit breathed life into the Church of God, or does Pentecost have more to do with events taking place “BEFORE the coming of the great and awesome DAY OF THE LORD” as well as our literally becoming “firstfruits” in God’s family? This article elaborates on the prophesied events necessary to fulfill the essence of its meaning.

The Holy Days Of Hebrews 6

by Lon Martin, written April 2000.

Does the book of Hebrews, directed to a Jewish audience, use ‘code words’ to tie the “elementary principles of Christ” directly to God’s seven annual Holy Days? We explore the likelihood, from a “New Testament” perspective, that the Holy Days actually epitomize the ultimate objectives of Christianity!

Jubilee 2031 A.D.

by Lon Martin, written December 1998. Revised November 2002.

Will Jesus Christ return during the next Jubilee year, fulfilling numerous symbolisms associated with the year of release? Our booklet provides several differing reasons to indicate that this is the case. Several countdowns appear to converge in 2031 A.D.

United States and Britain In Prophecy

                     by Herbert W. Armstrong

Do you think that “the Whole House of Israel” is wholly the Jews? If you do, then you are missing one of the major points of the whole Bible! In Genesis 17, God promised that Abraham would be “a father of many nations”, promising “an everlasting possession” by “an everlasting covenant”. Abraham himself prophesied concerning all twelve of his sons “what shall befall you in the last days”. The chronicle even extends to the New Jerusalem of Revelation 21, where the very gates mention “the twelve tribes of the children of Israel”. This astonishing book explains God’s view of this enigmatic topic in a way certain to change your worldview forever. Find America in the pages of your own Bible!

Was Vietnam the Beginning of the End?

Since the End of WWII and the Korean War, many members of God's Churches have been convinced that America would never win in another military engagement because of American idolatry and sinful living. They are convinced that America lost the war in Vietnam and that the bombing of the twin towers in New York City was further proof that God has turned his back on America. However, this paper was written for the purpose of demonstrating that America did not lose the war in Vietnam, contrary to popular belief. Vietnam was a means to an end to curtail a much bigger war that was much more deadly, having the possibility of destroying all life on our planet in a single day.
