The Curse Of Lawrence Of Arabia

Can the actions of one ordinary man change the world for better or worse? It can if that man wields a pen (or a keyboard). Here is an example of one such occurrence. In 1917 a now famous writer fabricated a legend, nearly out of thin air, only loosely based on reality. The resulting media frenzy changed the political landscape of our world to the extent that Biblical prophecy is even affected. This article explains how the modern nations of Israel and Iraq, and others, came into existence. Should you want to know "the rest of the story", check out our Prophecy articles.

The Region After Iraq

by Dr. George Friedman. Chairman and Founder of Strategic Forecasting,LLC                      http://www.stratfor.com

Is Saddam Hussein the prophesied “King of the South” (meaning south of Jerusalem)? Is this the very end time? Bible prophecy says of end time politics that the descendants of ancient Israel (primarily the U.S. and the British) will have made political “…payments to all your lovers, and hired them to come to you from all around for your harlotry.” (Ezekiel 16, especially v.33) While the U.S. has bought off many nations in the past - in lieu of dealing with its problems - this is not what is happening in today’s political environment. This article succinctly describes a political arena not remotely resembling that of the end time. As Dr. George Friedman says, today’s nations are “flirting” with us, not the other way around!
